Turning To The Light

Assalammualaikum.

First and foremost, Happy Eid Mubarak to everyone :) May Allah accept all of our good deeds throughout Ramadhan and may He grant us a heart where we will always continue to do those good deeds throughout our lives. I also want to grab this opportunity to ask for forgiveness from everyone who knows this jerk, for all of my wrongdoings. I'm not good with words, so, sorry again for not giving a better speech. May Allah grant us all a beautiful future with smiles and happiness and may Allah grant all 0913 SPM candidates a good will to study for SPM Trial during Raya :D

Takabalallahu Minnawaminkum.

When we dive into the deep blue ocean, we dive without a single care in the world.
When we look into the skies, we see a beautiful light above our heads.
It looks so close yet so far.
We try to reach it, try to grab it and escape the darkness below the seas.
But suddenly, a terrible storm would come crashing by, inflicting its destructive power, its terrifying thunder, painful lightning, creating colossal waves, pushing us further into the deep dark seas, where light becomes faint and eventually, disappear.

The light, that we tried so hard to reach, is the righteous path that all Humans are suppose to follow.
That storm refers to all the hatred, envy, jealousy that people portray whenever we have the effort to turn to the light.
The thunder, the lightning, the wave refers to the pain we suffer from bad words, discouragement and disbelief towards the things we want, and can become.
When the light becomes faint and eventually disappears, it refers to our level of confidence to change and repent.

Observing has always been my thing. I love to observe my surroundings. I love to evaluate and analyze each and every situation that happens around me and ask 'why'.

So what did I get?

I got regret, oppression, discrimination, frustration, discouragement, tears and sadness.

Common situations of people wanting to change, but end up being insulted and being accused of ria' but never really knowing their true intentions.

Its saddening really. Watching people who try so hard to change, who try so hard to become someone better. But the people around them, friends, families, don't give them support. But instead isolate them, push them away because they are 'different'.

"Change is the essence of life. Be willing to surrender what you are, for what you could become"

For those who want to change, always remember, Allah will always support you. No matter what the situation, as long as you keep asking, Allah will never let you down. just be patient and believe :)

"Change is not a destination, its a journey"
